Full-time on-site at the Amtrak's Frederick Douglass Tunnel site. Starting in May 2025, thru March 2026 with 2-year extensions thereafter.

- Inspection and Compliance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
- Identify and document any deviations from approved plans and specifications, and recommend corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Perform tests and inspections on materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding inspection results and project status.
- Coordination and Support:
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve construction issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and construction personnel.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on construction methods, materials, and schedules.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
Compensation: $42.00 - $90.00 per hour
